Harnessing advanced NLP for multidimensional CEO leadership analysis: A qualitative lexical network and literal approach
Soumyadeep Thakur and Debabrata Basu
The intricate interplay between corporate governance, leadership dynamics, and agricultural economic transformation underscores the pivotal role of Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) in modern agribusiness ecosystems. This study embarks on a sophisticated, multi-dimensional linguistic and network-based analysis to unravel the responsibilities, unconventional role evolution, temporal allocation patterns, and systemic constraints confronted by Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of FPCs. Employing an advanced methodological framework encompassing Natural Language Processing (NLP), lexical diversity metrics, centrality-based keyword network analysis, and lexical topic modelling, this research deciphers the textual intricacies embedded in a vast textual corpus of systematically curated scholarly reviews. The findings reveal a hierarchical structuring of semantic dominance, with ‘CEO,’ ‘performance,’ and ‘role’ emerging as paramount lexical nodes, illustrating the structural centrality of leadership efficacy in corpus. The motif analysis unveils a recurring emphasis on performance assessment and strategic stakeholder engagement, The study’s discourse trajectory, sculpted by topic modelling like Gaussian mixture models, latent semantic analysis and non-metric factorization (NMF) foregrounds the entanglement of decision-making paradigms with operational efficiencies, market connectivity, and institutional constraints. Drawing on multidimensional sentiment analysis and advanced NLP techniques the corpus reveals significant lexical redundancy that underscores the entrenched discursive patterns shaping CEO-centric governance within FPCs. Futuristically, leveraging artificial intelligence for decision optimization, enhancing digital agronomic intelligence, and instituting dynamic policy frameworks will be imperative for amplifying FPC leadership efficacy, fortifying farmer resilience, and sculpting a robust, self-sustaining agro-economic architecture in India’s evolving agricultural landscape.
