India's rapidly growing population, expected to reach 1.66 billion by 2050, presents a challenge in meeting increasing food demands sustainably with limited resources. Precision agriculture, which leverages technologies like GPS, sensors, data analytics, and drones, offers a promising solution by optimizing crop production, improving efficiency, and reducing environmental impact. Drones, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), play a pivotal role in agricultural innovation, with their design and functionality tailored to specific tasks. Farmers should be aware of the applications and benefits of using drones in agriculture to adopt them. This study aims to assess farmers awareness and intent towards usage of drones in agriculture in the Ranga Reddy district of Telangana. A sample of 160 farmers were surveyed by purposive sampling method.
