abstract
The Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park, (MG-RIPA) is a much-needed boost for Rural growth and Sustainable development it aims to provide infrastructure, training and support to rural entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish and grow their business. MG-RIPA offers facilities such as common workspaces, technology hubs, and supply chain logistics to enhance productivity and market access. The purposeful selection of MG-RIPA, Vill. Godbahal, Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh was made to achieve the study's scientific objectives. The MG-RIPA Milk Processing Unit official record for milk and milk products provided the data needed to meet the study's objective. This data included costs associated with the purchase, chilling, processing, and marketing of milk and milk products. a personal interview with an official from the MG-RIPA Milk Processing Unit was used to gather information about the challenges associated with the purchase of milk, its processing and production, and its marketing. The information was gathered for the years 2023–2024. The Cost Production for the milk products like toned milk, paneer and dahi was Rs. 37.49 Per liter, Rs. 224.67 Per Kg. Rs. 58.09 Per Kg, respectively. The major source of expenses was raw material (Milk), labour, LPG etc. for making milk products. Toned milk had the lowest BC Ratio of 1:0.22 and Paneer was highest BC Ratio of 1:0.42.
