Hence the present study was designed with the objective determinants of paddy production during COVID-19 regime in Andhra Pradesh. Multistage sampling design was used for the present study comprising a total of 120 farmers from six villages for collecting necessary information. Ordinal logistic regression was used to study the determinants of paddy production during COVID-19 regime using STATA software. Results revealed that availability of machinery and increase in wage rate were significant similarly shortage of inputs, increase in cost of inputs also. Recommended policy measures provide adequate inputs to the farmers at judious time and through RBK’s, encourage farmers towards mechanization.
