abstract
The present study was conducted in Latur, Ausa and Nilanga tehsils of Latur district from Marathwada region of Maharashtra State in 2023-2024, with an objective to study “Awareness of farmers about e-NAM”. Four villages from each tehsil were selected. Total twelve villages were selected for research study. Ten farmers were selected from each village and hence 120 farmers were selected for the study. Ex post facto research design was used for the study. A well-structured questionnaire designed for study was used for collecting the data from farmers through personal interview method. Relevant information was collected from farmers to evaluate the awareness of farmers about e-NAM. The data collection from farmers were edited, tabulated and analyzed using suitable statistical tools like Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation and coefficient of correlation. There were dependent variable namely “Awareness”. There were 10 independent variables viz., age, education, annual income, land holding, social participation, sources of information, technosaviness, risk orientation, market orientation and innovativeness. The study was noticed that, more than half (58.33%) of farmers had medium level of awareness about e-NAM, while (22.50%) and (19.17%) of farmers had high and low level of awareness about e-NAM.
